Bharatiya Samskrithi Vidyapeetha's golden jubilee

BANGALORE:
Bharatiya Samskrithi Vidyapeetha, known for imparting education to rural women and the poor, will celebrate its golden jubilee here on Thursday.
Founder of the vidyapeetha K. Nagesh Hatwar told presspersons here on Tuesday that inspired by the words of Mahatma Gandhi, he had started the institution in 1957 with barely five students. It has non-academic sections for computer training, performing arts and book publication. Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy, Minister for Higher Education D. H. Shanakaramurthy and the former Governor M. Rama Jois will participate.
