BSNL ties up with Department of Post

NEW DELHI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL was earlier the Department of Telecom) and the Department of Post are trying to work out a scheme in which ATM facilities will be extended to some of the farthest corners of the country. BSNL will use the services of postmen for collecting phone bills and the Department of Post will be one of the preferred franchisees for selling prepaid cellular recharge coupons, Indian Telephone and Sancharnet cards.
