KOCHI: G.S. Mangat, Chairman and Managing Director of National Fertilizers Limited, assumed additional charge of Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) on Tuesday. Mr. Mangat takes the place of G.C. Gopala Pillai, who resigned from the post of CMD, FACTin December.

Top officials from FACT including George Sleeba, Director, Technical; D.N. Pradhan, Director, Finance, and A. Ashokan, Director, Marketing, werepresent at the occasion. Mangat said the diversification programmes announced at FACT would be carried out with approval from the Board of Directors of the fertiliser company.
