Mullaperiyar: Minister seeks date for talks

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala has urged the Centre to fix the date and time for the next round of talks on Mullaperiyar.

The Office of Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran said here on Tuesday that the Minister had written to the Union Minister for Water Resources Saifuddin Soz in this regard.

Mr. Premachandran appreciated the efforts being taken by the Centre to solve the issue amicably.

This was the right time to continue talks on the basis of the points raised by the State during the Ministerial-level discussions held on December 18.
