Three killed in separate road accidents

MANGALORE: Three persons died in separate road accidents in the district on Tuesday. The police said Subrahmanya Bhat (50), a resident of Yekkar-Bajpe, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a private bus at Kilpady village. Latitia Vas (60), a pedestrian, was fatally run over by a lorry near Muru Kaveri in Kinnigoli village. The police said Latitia was crossing the road when the accident occurred. Mulky police have registered the cases.

Ratnavathi (70), a resident of Padubettu Nelyadi village, was killed when a car hit her on National Highway 48 near St. Stephen Church in Nelyadi village of Puttur taluk. Uppinangady police have registered a case.
