Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in KH Road, Driver Colony, New Jeeva Nagar, Velan Nagar and Tiruchi Chinnasamy street in Tondiarpet area from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday for maintenance work. Supply would resume once work was completed, said a press release from the T.N.E.B.

Dak adalat

Dak adalat will be conducted at divisional-level at Anna Road Head Post Office on January 11 at 11 a.m. The public may forward complaints pertaining to this unit to the Chief Postmaster with details such as date of booking, office of booking, address of sender/remitter and addressee/payee in respect of registered letters, parcel, insured, V.P P and Money Order up to January 8. Complaints relating to Savings Bank accounts and cash certificates may also be sent.

Awareness seminar

Prognosis Consultancy Services is organising an awareness seminar on stock markets on January 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at old No: 21, 1st Cross street, C.I.T. Colony, Mylapore. Yoga course

Satyananda Yoga Centre will conduct free yoga classes for a month from January 7 at Bala Vidya HSS, 30, Vasudevapuram (between Chakrapani Street and Janakiraman Street near Doraiswamy Subway), West Mambalam.
