KHARTOUM: A leader of the rebel Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) has rejected to restart peace talks with the Sudanese Government to end the four-year conflict in western Sudanese region of Darfur, local daily Sudan Tribune reported on Wednesday on its website. In an interview with the English language newspaper, SLM leader Abdelwahid al-Nour reiterated his refusal of peace negotiations with the Sudanese Government, saying he could not negotiate with a regime that ``is committing genocide against [Darfur] people.'' He also said that the lack of credibility of the ruling National Congress Party led by President Omar el-Bashir had undercut any efforts for a negotiated settlement. ``This regime has failed to implement one single previous agreement,'' he said.
