S. Kota bandh total, peaceful

Correspondent

VIZIANAGARAM: The S. Kota bandh called by all political parties on Wednesday was total and peaceful. The bandh was called to protest against the Government's decision to close down the RTC depot. The indefinite dharna that began on Monday at the entrance of the depot continued. All educational institutions, shops and establishments downed their shutters voluntarily. Leaders of various political parties, a large number of students and civilians sat on the Visakhapatnam-Araku road and blocked movement of traffic.
