Apex court rejects plea

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday declined to entertain an oral plea for ordering a CBI probe into the killing of children at Nithari village in Noida, near here.

A Bench of Chief Justice Y.K. Sabharwal and Justice C.K. Thakker, declining the plea of counsel Ravi Prakash Gupta, told him that as the National Human Rights Commission and the National Commission for Women were looking into the matter and the Uttar Pradesh Police making investigations, there was no need to entertain such a request.
