Implement G.O. 610, TDP tells State

TDLP for applying the GO to PSUs

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Legislature Party has demanded a time-bound implementation of GO 610 relating to repatriation of non- local employees from Telangana region.

Addressing a press conference, TDLP deputy leader T. Devender Goud and senior MLA Ch. Rajeswara Rao favoured its implementation in public sector organisations.

`Not much say'

Asked for his comments on Congress decision to constitute second State Reorganisation Commission, Mr. Goud said he had not much to say as the "Centre was sanctioning what the ruling party here had demanded".

Mr. Goud wondered how the Government could go ahead with works when the proposal does not figure in the `Jalayagnam'.

There were lot of apprehensions over drawing of water from Srisailam .

He wanted the Government to suspend all works and appoint an experts committee to study all aspects.

Mr. Goud said the `Jalayagnam' itself has become a farce with the Government failing to achieve the set targets.
