The week-long programme, which began on Monday, included awareness campaigns at educational institutions of the city during the day and street corner meetings along with teaching of traffic norms to violators at the spot in the evening. On Tuesday the students of the Mahamayee Women's College were taught about the traffic rules and norms of road safety. The campaign also included free eye check-up camps for the drivers of commercial vehicle drivers.
