Sports complex for C.R. Park

NEW DELHI: Football lovers of Chittaranjan Park here now have a great reason to cheer. The Delhi Development Authority will build a sports complex at Chittaranjan Park/Alaknanda in South Delhi that would have among other facilities a full-size football ground.

The complex is expected to serve lakhs of people living in Greater Kailash I and II, Chittaranjan Park, Alaknanda, Kalkaji DDA Flats and Govindpuri and adjoining areas. This would be the first sports complex to come up between Sarita Vihar and Saket.

The complex, spread over 10 acres, would have facilities for numerous indoor sports, a multi-gym that would provide people with proper fitness training.
