Dommata MLA resigns

Sangareddy: Protesting against the closure of Andhra Pradesh State Corporation's Dubbaka depot, Dommata legislator S. Ramalinga Reddy submitted his resignation to the all-party action committee formed to protect the depot.

He announced this decision at Habshipur crossroads while addressing activists who organised a `rasta-roko' on Wednesday. Dubbaka ZPTC member Bakki Venkataih also faxed his resignation letter to the Collector. Dubbaka MPP Sriram Anasuya too followed suit. Meanwhile, the all-party committee announced a district-wide bandh on Friday.
