282 Haj pilgrims arrive

CHENNAI: A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight with 282 Haj pilgrims who had privately visited Mecca along with Aboobucker, vice-chairman of the Tamil Nadu State Haj Committee, arrived at the Anna International Terminal on Wednesday. According to Mr. Aboobucker, this year's arrangement at Mecca for the pilgrims was praiseworthy. Mr. Aboobucker said he had a meeting with Union Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed at Arafat in Mecca on December 29 and discussed the modalities for the future trips for Haj pilgrims.
