Three of a family die in accident

BHUBANESWAR: At least three persons belonging to a family were killed and nine others were injured when a car in which they were travelling collided a truck at Kuchei under Kuliana police station on Wednesday morning. The victims, Rajinder Kaur (65), Tej Kaur (40) and granddaughter Nayanpreet Kaur (12), died on the spot. The deceased along with nine others were coming to Puri from Jamshedpur in neighbouring Jharkhand. The accident had taken place around 1.40 a.m

All the persons were from Jamshedpur. The injured persons were administered primary medication at Mayurbhanj District Headquarter Hospital, Baripada and later shifted to Jameshedpur. A case has been registered in this connection.
