Court directive on water bodies

HYDERABAD: A Division Bench of the High Court on Wednesday directed the Government not to allot land around the water bodies in Hyderabad. The Bench also directed the authorities not to regularise any encroachments near the lakes. The Bench was dealing with a case on protection of water bodies.

After perusing the report submitted by the officers concerned, the Bench passed these interim orders and adjourned the case.
