Medical camp
an eye, dental, maternity and gynaecology camp besides general screening in association with KG Hospital for the residents of the ward. The camp will be held at Pankaja Mill Hall on Pankaja Mill Road on January 4.
Programme
will celebrate its 22nd year through a programme to honour Dr. T.Sathish Kumar M.S. (PSG Hospitals) for his service to the music lovers of Coimbatore. The function will be held at the Karnataka Association Hall at Tatabad on January 14 at 10 a.m. M.N. Manjunatha, Deputy Inspector General of Police, will preside over the function. Nithyasree Mahadevan, singer, will be the chief guest.
Sri Jagannath Rath Yathra
a Sri Jagannath Rath Yathra on January 6 at 3.30 p.m. The yathra will start from Thermutti and pass through Raja Street, Oppanakara Street, Vysial Street, KG Street and culminate at the convention centre. Special bhajans and keerthans will be held at Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre on the same day at 6.30 p.m. and on January 7 also at 7.30 a.m. Prasadam will be distributed. Dinner will also be arranged for those participating in the rath yathra at the convention centre.
