TUCI to join motor strike

KOCHI: The Trade Union Centre of India (TUCI) has decided to participate in the motor vehicles strike to be held on January 31, protesting against the hike in the insurance premium of motor vehicles. The TUCI State committee said the decision would plunge the motor vehicles industry already suffering from the hike in petroleum prices into further crisis.

Nominated BJYM State vice-president

KOCHI: P. Krishnadas has been nominated as the State vice-president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) by the State president K. Surendran. V.K. Sajeevan and P. Venugopal were nominated as general secretaries and K.S. Rajesh as secretary.
