Pulse Polio

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Urban district administration has set a target to administer polio drops to 4.04 lakh children during the first round of Pulse Polio programme scheduled to be held on January 7.

Addressing the district-level meeting of officials to review the implementation of Pulse Polio programme, Deputy Commisssioner M.A. Sadiq said 1,357 booths would be set up to reach the target. Teams would visit rural areas on January 8 and 9 to administer polio drops to children aged below five.
