State fails to monitor fee collection norms being violated by private unaided colleges
|
HYDERABAD:
The State Council of All India Students Federation (AISF) has threatened to conduct several agitation programmes across the State from Thursday protesting against the Government's proposal to increase 10 per cent fee in all the aided and Government junior colleges from the next academic year.
All India Students Federation State Council president K. Srujan Kumar, in a statement here on Wednesday, criticised the Government's decision to hike 10 per cent in Government junior colleges.
Mr. Srujan Kumar said that it had failed in monitoring the fee collected by private unaided colleges that were violating fee collection norms.
Private universities
The AISF State council also condemned the Government's decision to discuss the issue of GATS agreement (Private Universities Bill) in the next budget session, stating that there was no dearth of universities in the country.
