FDI proposals worth Rs 2,792 cr. cleared

NEW DELHI: The Union Government has cleared 20 FDI proposals worth Rs. 2,792 crore, including the one relating to foreign investment of Rs. 2,500 crore in Idea Cellular Ltd. FIIs, Foreign Venture Capital Investors and other entities would raise the foreign investment in Idea Cellular up to 74 per cent, an official statement said on Thursday.
