Digvijay Singh meets MSR

HYDERABAD: All India Congress Committee incharge of Andhra Pradesh Affairs Digvijay Singh spent half an hour with former Minister M. Satyanarayana Rao at his residence here on Thursday.

Mr. Singh, who is here to attend the two-day brainstorming session of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, took time off to have a chat with Mr. Satyanarayana Rao and listen to his version of the recent developments vis-à-vis the Karimnagar byelection result.

Mr. Rao is understood to have explained to Mr. Singh the reasons leading to the bypoll and also of the party's debacle.

He reportedly appraised him of the `strength of Telangana sentiment'.
