Al Ameen wins men's team title

BANGALORE: The Al Ameen quartet in the longer relay (4x400m) — G.K. Adhithya, A.P. Chirag, S.K. Prakash and K. Srinivas — established the lone record of the meet, stopping the clock at 3:26.9 seconds, as the curtains came down on the 42nd Bangalore University inter-collegiate athletic championship here on Thursday.

The earlier mark too stood in the name of Al Ameen College at 3:27.09 secs.

Al Ameen extended its hold on the men's team championship with 69 points for the 21st year in succession, while Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College annexed the women's title (46 points).
