BHUBANESWAR: The low-cost carrier, Air Deccan, has announced flight operation between Bhubaneswar and Mumbai from February 1. The service flight for the operation will be a 180-seater Airbus A 320 for which booking commenced on Thursday. Air Deccan has already provided connectivity to Bhubaneswar from Kolkata, Raipur and Delhi. The city, which is dotted with temples, was bustling with educational and research institutions and IT-related establishments, G.R. Goliath, Managing Director of Air Deccan, said in a statement. The flight (DN-641) would originate from Mumbai at 6.05 a.m. and land here two hours later at 8.05 on daily basis. Similarly, the flight (DN-642) would start here at 11.25 a.m. and reach Mumbai at 1.25 p.m. every day. The company has fixed fares starting from Rs. 977.
