Suspected Trinamool men ransack office

Staff Reporter

Kolkata: An annoyed Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee visited the office of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) — the State's apex industry promotion agency — after it was vandalised by a group of people stated to belong to the Trinamool Congress, in the city's central business hub here on Thursday.

Mr. Bhattacharjee criticised the incident, saying that the process of industrialisation cannot be stopped in such a manner. His Industry Secretary Sabyasachi Sen accompanied him.
