Workshop on enriching engineering education

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, the Education Grid of the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITMK), and the Carnegie Mellon University, the United States, will jointly organise a two-day workshop on `Technology enhanced learning for enriching engineering education' at the Technopark.

The workshop would begin on Friday and would be attended by more than 160 participants from various engineering colleges in the State and Tamil Nadu and 20 faculty members from the various IITs, said a press note issued by the IIITMK here.

This was the first workshop after the release of the educational content developed under the National Programme for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) at the IIT, Chennai, in September.
