NEW DELHI: Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Friday announced the release of the first limited edition of Innova, launched less than two years ago in India. The limited edition is available in two new colour variants — Simpson red and Warm silver — with added features both in the interiors and exteriors to further enhance the versatility, comfort and safety. The limited edition comes with a 2.5 litre D-4D diesel engine. The offer is limited to three months from the second week of this month. The vehicle will be priced at Rs. 8.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company expects to sell 1,000 units of the limited edition Innova.
Honda hikes car prices
Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) on Friday announced an increase in the prices of its sedans by up to Rs. 12,801 effective from Saturday, attributing it largely to rising input costs. Similarly, Tata Motors has hiked by up to Rs. 15,000 the prices of its popular sports utility vehicle Safari and multi-utility vehicle Sumo.
Hyundai Verna price up
PTI reports: Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) on Friday said it has increased the prices of its newly-launched sedan, Verna, by up to Rs. 10,000. The price increase will be effective from January 5 and include both its diesel and petrol models, the company said in a statement. The price increase varies from Rs. 3,500 for the base petrol model to Rs. 10,000 for the top-end diesel variant, it added.
