500 AEs to be appointed

HYDERABAD: Irrigation Minister P. Lakshmaiah said orders were issued for appointment of 500 AE posts and another 500 posts were sanctioned which would be filled by the APPSC. Promotions for Deputy EEs, AEEs and EEs too would be issued in a short period, he said.

At a function organised by the Irrigation Department NGOs Association on Thursday, the Minister assured consideration of all their demands, and asserted the Government was determined to improve the service conditions of the staff.

Mr. Lakshmaiah urged the employees to dedicate themselves towards completion of irrigation projects .
