YSR firm on setting up IIT at Isnapur

Decision taken in view of various infrastructure facilities insisted upon by the Centre

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has affirmed that the IIT sanctioned to the State will be set up at Isnapur in Medak district and not at Basar.

He made this clear to a delegation of MPs and MLAs from Adilabad district, which met him here on Friday, seeking its location at Basar.

He said the decision to establish the IIT at Isnapur was taken in view of the various infrastructure facilities insisted upon by the Centre, including air, rail and road links.
