Thrissur: Ramesan, 30, of Santhi Nagar in Kuttumukku, who was admitted to the District Hospital with assault injuries, died on Friday, the police said. Ramesan, an autorickshaw driver who was given to wife-bashing, was assaulted allegedly by his two brothers-in-law. In an inebriated state, he reportedly assaulted his wife, Bindu, on Thursday night, following which she sought refuge in the house of her brothers. The police were looking for Biju, 36, and Vinu, 26, as part of the investigation.
