ALAPPUZHA: A meeting of Hindus will be held on the Thiruvambady temple premises here on January 28. The meeting, Vishala Hindu Sammelanam, is being organised in all taluks in the State on the occasion of the birth centenary of M.S. Golwalkar, second chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the reception committee here says. Bharatiya Vichara Kendram director P. Parameshwaran will deliver the keynote address at the meeting. Swami Abhayananda Tirtha Padar will deliver the benediction address. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh vice-president Saji Narayanan will offer felicitations. The organisers say the meeting is aimed at bringing various orders of Sanyasis and leaders of different castes on a platform and fight against degeneration of society.
