Chathannur tops upper primary category

KOLLAM: The Kottarakara sub-district was declared overall champions in the Kollam Revenue District Schools Youth Festival, which concluded at Kulakada near here on Friday.

Scoring 405 points, the Kottarakara sub-district emerged champions in the high school category. In the Upper Primary category, Chathannur sub-district emerged champions with 171 points.

In the high school Arabic category, Sasthamcotta sub-district won the first place with 167 points.

In the upper primary section of the same category, Punalur sub-district emerged champions with 127 points. In the high school Sanskrit category, Chathannur sub-district secured the first place with 236 points and in the upper primary section of the same category, Kottarakara sub-district emerged champions with 217 points.

In the TTI category the RBM TTI, Kariyar, won the first place with 78 points and in the PPTTI category, HAIS, Anchal, won the first place with 100 points.
