NALGONDA: Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams is planning to launch a special scheme, `Sravanam', for the hearing-impaired. TTD chairman B.Karunakar Reddy told reporters at Suryapet on Friday that the TTD would take it as a mission to treat the hearing-impaired children. He also maintained that more than lakh marriages will be performed as part of its ambitious programme. "Our main aim is to come to the rescue of poor, who bust their pockets by lavishly spending for weddings," Mr.Reddy revealed. Earlier, China Jeeyar Swamy blessed three couples who were going to get married as part of `Kalayanamastu.'
