Engineer robbed on Hosur Road

BANGALORE:
Two armed men robbed a civil engineer of a mobile phone, a gold chain and cash at knifepoint in Electronics City police station limits on Thursday night. The robbers drove away the engineer's motorcycle.
The police said that around 7.30 p.m. Ajith was returning from construction site in Basapura, off Hosur Road, on his motorcycle.
Two men, who were riding a motorcycle, intercepted Ajith's two-wheeler and threatened him with a knife. They robbed him of the valuables.
Woman murdered
A man allegedly throttled his wife to death at their house Vinayakanagar, near Koodlu Gate on Hosur Road, on Thursday night. The police gave the victim's name as Pushpa (30), wife of Ravi Reddy, a real estate agent. Reddy often quarrelled with Pushpa, suspecting her fidelity.
