He was speaking at the inaugural of the 31st Andhra Pradesh History Congress session here.

The first Telugu inscription dating back to 6 A.D. was discovered at Kalamalla and the second one pertaining to 7 A.D. at Yerragudipadu in the district, he said.

The Collector advised students to opt for specialisation in history after exploring the job opportunities in the changing environment. Those specialising in history should not be left jobless and frustrated, he said.
