TDP leader's murder case posted to Jan. 18

Suri didn't even have a glance at Moddu Sreenu. They didn't even talk to each other.

ANANTAPUR: The Third Additional Fast Track Court adjourned the murder case of TDP leader Tagarakunta Prabhakar to January 18 here on Saturday.

Nine out of the 11 accused in the case, including G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri and J. Srinivasa Reddy alias Moddu Sreenu, were produced in the Court.

The accused were produced in the Fast Track Court as Assistant Sessions Judge V. Chandrasekharan was on leave. On the plea of the accused, Fast Track Court Judge Chandra Mohanty allowed them to meet their kith and kin outside the Court hall.

On the plea of the conspiracy accused Suri, the Judge also allowed him to speak to his co-accused in the police van for 10 minutes. While Suri spoke to all other accused of the case present there, he did not even have a glance at Moddu Sreenu all the while. They did not talk to each other.

As the police guarding them did not separate the accused after 10 minutes time given by the a court, an attendant of the court went into the van to convey the Judge's anger against violation of his permission.

Later, the police took the accused who were brought here from Hyderabad into another van. Other accused who were produced in the Court include P. Damodar Reddy, Obi Reddy, P. Narayana Reddy, V. Venkatesh, V. Srinivasulu, Bhaskar Reddy and Sivalinga. Moddu Sreenu, Damodar Reddy, Obi Reddy, Narayana Reddy and V. Srinivasulu, who are also accused in the Paritala Ravindra murder case, were brought from Hyderabad. Heavy police security was deployed on the Court premises as the second death anniversary of Paritala Ravindra is approaching.
