Dairy farming picking up

BERHAMPUR: Dairy farming has been picking up as a source of livelihood for unemployed youths in Ganjam district.

According to S. Das, secretary of `Society', an organisation to promote dairy, more than 5,000 youths had taken up dairy as a profession in the district. A workshop was organised in the city on Saturday for budding dairy farmers of the district by the 'Society'. Chief District Veterinary Officer, N.K.Rout was among the guests present.
