KURNOOL: All arrangements have been made for administering pulse polio vaccine to 4.75 lakh children in the age group of 0-5 years in Kurnool district on Sunday. A total of 6.5 lakh doses of vaccine have been procured and 2,717 pulse polio posts set up. District Medical and Health Officer Ramakrishna Reddy said 11,335 personnel were drafted for the job at the rate of four per post. The Government released an amount of Rs. 18 lakhs for the programme in the district. A rally was conducted to highlight the programme, which was flagged off by M.A. Gafoor, MLA.
