Unidentified body of teenager found in Karimala forests

PATHANAMTHITTA: An unidentified body of a teenager, aged between 15 and 17, was found lying in the interior forests of Karimala, according to the Sannidhanam police. The body has been kept at the Pathanamthitta General Hospital mortuary. The Peruvanthanam police have registered a case. Two persons, a pilgrim and a driver, died of cardiac arrest in Sabarimala in the past 24 hours.

In another incident, a jeep driver from Bangalore who was camping at the Nilackal base died the previous night.

The deceased was identified as Sivalingappa, 45, who came with a group of pilgrims from Bangalore on Friday.
