Mumbai: The BCCI Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has changed the dates of the Ranji Trophy Super League and Plate semifinals and the final. As per the revised schedule, the Super League semifinals will be held from January 23 to 27 instead of January 18 to 22. The final will be played from February 2 to 6 instead of January 27 to 31. ``We have changed the date as the final is being telecast live,'' BCCI's Chief Administrative Officer, Ratnakar Shetty, said on Saturday. The Plate semifinals would now be held from January 10 to 14 and the final from January 21 to 25, Shetty added.
Venue shifted
Meanwhile, the Deodhar Trophy inter-zonal limited-over cricket tournament has been shifted to Mumbai from North Zone and would be played from February 24 to March 10, the BCCI announced on Saturday. ``The shift in venue has been done because one of the North Zone centres, Mohali, is not available due to repair work at the stadium,'' Shetty said. The tournament will be played on a round-robin basis among the five zones. PTI
