Udhagamandalam: An all-round performance by S. Sandeep (125 & four for 22) and a valuable 85 by S.T. Vinodh enabled Colts CC score a 66-run win over Young Stars CC in the TNCA-NDCA `A' division league here on Saturday.

The scores: `A' division: Colts 299 (S. Sandeep 125, S.T. Vinodh 85, Fabian McDonald 40, J.C. Leo Christy five for 28) bt Young Stars 233 (K.A. George 53, P.C. Yadush Bose 50, S. Sandeep four for 22).

`B' division (Friday's matches): All Stars 308 for six in 40 overs (A. Ignatius 136, V. Arokianathan 76, J.K. Ananthakrishnan 54) bt Divis 158 (P. Manikandan 53, A. Ignatius four for 28).

No sweat for PSG

PSG College of Arts and Science posted a comfortable eight-wicket win over Vasavi College (Erode) in the Bharathiar University inter-collegiate inter-zone cricket tournament in Coimbatore on Friday.

The scores: Vasavi (Erode) 87 for eight in 25 overs lost to PSG 89 for two in 8.3 overs.

Saraswathi Thiyagaraja 136 in 25 overs (Hasis 49) lost to Dr. NGP 140 for five in 22.5 overs (Nishad 45).
