FITNESS MANTRA: Swami Ramdev conducting yoga session for tribal students at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology tribal school on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Bhubaneswar: It was a different experience for thousands of tribal students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences here on Saturday when Swami Ramdev demonstrated before them the techniques of yoga.The children promptly learnt the techniques of Ramdev by following him step by step. Ramdev is in the State capital to conduct a six-day-long yoga science camp that started four days ago. "Yoga is a way of life which can protect people from diseases without any side effect," Ramdev told the gathering consisting of students and staff of all wings of Kalinga Institute Industrial Technology Deemed University. Welcoming Ramdev to the KIIT campus, Chancellor of KIIT Deemed University A. Samanta thanked him for blessing the tribal students of the tribal school that provides free living and education from primary to higher secondary level for 3,000 tribal children. Among others who spoke include Industry Minister Biswabhushan Harichandan, Revenue Minister Manmohan Samal and Vice-Chancellor of KIIT Deemed University S. C. De Sarkar.
