Sweekar camp

The Sweekar Rehabilitation Institute for Handicapped is organising a five-day free Speech and Hearing Screening Camp from Monday on the institute premises at Secunderabad. Further details can be had over phone number: 27843338.

Blood donation camp

The Society for Awareness and Vision on Environment (SAVE) and the Morning Walkers Association is organising a blood donation camp at Indira Park, Domalguda at 6.30 a.m. on Sunday.

Kerosene distribution

The Government has released 10 litres of kerosene each for all white cardholders who are not having LPG connection. Two litres has also been released to Deepam LPG connection holders for the month of January 2007.

Mass congregation

Prabhandak Committee of Central Gurudwara Saheb, Secunderabad, will hold a `Vishaal Deewan' (mass congregation) at Key's High School open grounds, Secunderabad from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, followed by Guru ka Langar. This is to mark the 339th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth and last Sikh Guru.

Alumni meet

The Annual Alumni meet (Nostalgia Day) of St. Patricks High School, Secunderabad will be held at 6 p.m. on January 7. Students from 1955 will be attending the meet followed by a contributory dinner. Contact Rizwan/William on phone Nos. 9849277908/9848414817 for details.

Opening of shops

All the shops and establishments in twin cities and in municipal areas of Kukatpally, Malkajgiri, Uppal and Alwal have been permitted to remain open on Sunday during the period from January 7 to 14.
