`Probe revival of minority status to B.Ed colleges'

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The All India Students Federation (AISF) has sought an inquiry by the Vigilance Department into revival of minority status to 70 B.Ed colleges that lost minority status last year as they failed to comply with G.O. No. 1 that makes it mandatory for all minority institutions to have minimum 70 per cent admissions with the concerned minority students.

The AISF alleged that lakhs of rupees changed hands before this decision was taken and that is why a probe was necessary.
