Arrested for threatening to blow up plane

NEW DELHI:
A passenger who was allegedly in an inebriated state threatened to blow up an Austrian Airlines plane after he was refused a drink by the staff minutes before it was to land in the Capital on Friday night.
The passenger, M. Bilal, was arrested and booked for criminal intimidation.
Plane taken to isolation bay
"The pilot informed the authorities just before landing that he had a passenger on board under the influence of alcohol who had threatened to set off a bomb on the plane. The plane was taken to an isolation bay and an anti-sabotage check was carried out to make sure everything was okay," said a Central Industrial Security Force officer.
The Austrian Airlines flight was from coming from Vienna.
