Man killed in accident
An electrician Laxman, 28, riding pillion on a scooter being driven by his friend Shyam was killed after a speeding APSRTC bus hit their vehicle from behind near Big Bazar complex at Abids on Saturday.
Magisterial probe
The magisterial inquiry into the death of remand prisoner Tirumalashetti Veera Swamy will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 10, according to Special Executive Magistrate M. Ramesh Reddy. Witnesses, friends or relatives can depose their evidence during the enquiry to be held in his office located in the Collectorate premises in Abids.
