To clear rush during Pongal holidays

TIRUCHI : The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation will operate special buses from Tiruchi to various parts of the State from January 12 to 17 to clear rush during the Pongal holidays. The corporation will ply buses from here to Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Chennai, Madurai, Dindigul, Palani, Villupuram, Ariyalur and Jayamkondam.

Arrangements have been made for reservation facility for the buses operated from Tiruchi to Chennai, including for return journey, at the central bus stand here.

A release from general manager of Tiruchi region of TNSTC urged people to take full advantage of this facility. The Corporation has also planned to operate special town buses on the above days in the Tiruchi city limits.
