According to the police, the body of the child, whose father lived near the hospital, was found hanging from the window grill of a pump house behind the mortuary of the hospital. Following investigations, the police arrested Phool Singh (54) and Tek Chand (50) on Saturday.

While Phool Singh worked as a sweeper in the hospital, Tek Chand was a temporary employee.
