The President is pleased to appoint Sri Justice Jiwanlal Kapur, Judge of the Punjab High Court, and Sri Justice Prahlad Balacharya Gajendragadkar to be Judges of the Supreme Court of India with effect from the date on which they assume charge of their respective offices, says a press note issued in New Delhi on January 8 by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
