Rajeswar calls on Patil, Manmohan

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Governor T.V. Rajeswar called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil on Monday. He is understood to have apprised them of the law and order situation in the State, particularly with regard to the killing of children of Nithari village, Noida.

Informed sources said the coming Assembly polls also figured during the discussions between Mr. Rajeswar and Mr. Patil.
